Title of Dissertation/Thesis:Design of A Vehicular Multiple Image Capture And Transmission System Based On FPGA

Abstract:
As the number of cars in today's society increase, more and more traffic accidents and violations occurring around the car also occurrence more frequently. Responsibility for these accidents and violations identified and, in some cases, existing tachograph records due to inability to adequately situation around the car and does not provide sufficient evidence. For such problems, this paper proposes a multi-car image acquisition and transmission system, the captured image can cover all range around the car.Through previous research results and the application requirements of the system, the subject will be multi-channel real-time data acquisition and image storage, image data per channel supports up to 720P, 30fps, and image data in every channel can be transmitted back and displayed on the display device. According to the function of the system and related performance indicators, designed hardware and software design system solutions, and proposed a bus communication protocol to achieve the functions of the system.The main contents of this paper include:1) proposed and implemented a multi-vehicle road transport system image acquisition system design. According to the function, and research status of the system, determine the function and performance of the system, and these determine the overall structure of the scheme of the system, the system is divided into two subsystems ,including image acquisition and storage system and central control system, a system bus used for communication among subsystems.2) Proposed and implemented a system for bus communication protocols, and a communication interface for the communication protocol. Bus protocol support frame transmission protocol, the bus interface comprises a high-speed serial data recovery module, the serial data recovery module is based on the principle of over-sampling, depending on the workflow and protocol frame system, two different serial data recovery method based on FPGA were designed.3) Completed a multi-car image acquisition and transmission system hardware and software design. The hardware design includes the design of the overall system design and system hardware platform of each hardware module, which features the image data acquisition module mainly complete, real-time storage and transmission. Software design is mainly to control the entire system and image data display.
