Abstract:
Digital Audio Broadcast system is more and more popular and important because of the progress in wireless communication and common requirement on audio broadcast. The key technique is the design of RF receiver. This thesis is the research on circuit design of DAB receiver. This thesis begins with the system of RF receiver .A final solution of DAB receiver architecture is proposed. The detail parameters of L band circuits is shown including L band low noise amplifier and L band RF mixers .The design of these circuits are the major work of this thesis. This thesis summarizes the design flow of LNA and presents the design techniques of integrated image-rejection filter. Then a integrated image-rejection low noise amplifier is proposed including the detail simulation results. Following the analysis of the linearity of mixer, a mixer circuit using “current injection method” is proposed. . A low power consumption, high gain and control range variable gain amplifier is designed in this thesis which is proved by the test results. The VGA can be used in many systems (DAB, WLAN, GPS. etc).
