摘要/Abstract:

A fully integrated mixed-signal system-on-a-chip (SoC) has been designed for implantable cardiac monitoring devices. The SoC is composed of the ECG acquisition analog front-end (AFE), the cardiac arrhythmia detector, the data compressor, the off-chip non-volatile memory controller, the power management circuit, and the auxiliary circuits. Implemented in 65nm CMOS technology, the SoC occupies a die area of 4.3 mm 2 , The SoC only consumes 1.92 μA current from a 2.5V power supply when performing always-on ECG acquisition and monitoring. This design outperforms similar designs in literature in terms of energy efficiency and processing accuracy.
