本文提出了一种用于短距离无线通信的多模式正交上变频结构发射机及其集成的频率合成器。该发射机和频率合成器拥有灵活可变的拓扑结构和频率规划,具备250kHz到2MHz可重构的信道带宽以支持位于433/868/915MHz ISM频段的所有信号。为了节省芯片面积和功耗,该频率合成器中仅使用单个1.8GHz压控振荡器(VCO)来覆盖上述所有频段。该多模芯片中的所有模式均可通过使用SPI接口改变内部寄存器配置的方式进行实时切换。本文所述芯片使用180nm CMOS工艺制备,实测频率合成器可覆盖320-460MHz和
A reconfigurable multi-mode direct-conversion transmitter (TX) with integrated frequency synthesizer (FS) is presented. The TX as well as the FS is designed with flexible architecture and frequency plan, which helps to support all the 433/868/915MHz ISM band signals, with the reconfigurable bandwidth from 250kHz to 2MHz. In order to save power and chip area, only one 1.8GHz VCO is adopted to cover the whole frequency range. All the operation modes can be regulated at real time by configuring the integrated register-bank through a SPI interface. Implemented in 180nm CMOS, the FS achieves the frequency coverage of 320-460MHz and 620-920MHz. The lowest phase noise can be -107dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset, and -126dBc/Hz at 1MHz offset. The transmitter features a +10.2dBm peak output power with +9.5dBm 1dB compression point and 250k/500k/1M/2MHz reconfigurable signal bandwidth.
