以应用于2.4GHz频段的射频识别标签为背景,对硅基集成小环天线的阻抗特性和辐射特性进行了理论计算和仿真,并以仿真结果为依据,设计了一个用于2.4GHz频段射频识别标签的硅基集成天线。文中同时给出了天线设计时的一些调节和优化方法。测试结果表明,利用1.8mm×1.8mm的硅基集成天线,在等效发射功率为25dBm时,通过整流电路可以输出1.2V电压、15μA负载电流。
This paper deals with on-chip antennas integrated on silicon wafers for 2.4GHz RFID applications.Electrical characteristics and radiation characteristics of loop antennas were calculated and simulated.Based on the results from calculations and simulations,an on-chip loop antenna was designed for a RFID tag used in 2.4GHz.This paper also gives some guidelines on the design of on-chip loop antennas.Measured results show that 1.2V power supply and 15uA load current can be obtained from a on-chip rectifier with 25dBm EIRP, with the onchip antenna of 1.8mm ×1.8mm chip.
