Abstract:

The invention discloses a rendering method for Delta-type sub-pixel display panels with different color sequences, and the method comprises the steps: 1, obtaining and processing an original image, and obtaining a gray value matrix of RGB sub-pixels; 2, enabling the gray-scale value of any sub-pixel with the same color in the odd-numbered line rendering unit to be equal to the average value of thegray-scale values of the sub-pixels with the same color in the standard pixel gray-scale unit; 3, enabling the gray-scale value of any sub-pixel with the same color in the even-numbered line rendering unit to be equal to the average value of the gray-scale values of the sub-pixels with the same color in the standard pixel gray-scale unit; and 4, after gray scale values of sub-pixels in a rendering unit of the RGB-Delta type display panel are obtained, forming three-primary-color pixels on the display panel, and displaying an original image. According to the invention, under the conditions ofno color distortion and effective control of the color edge effect, the image information is well restored, so that images are normally displayed on Delta-type sub-pixel display panels with differentcolor sequences.
