Abstract:
A parallel data bit width conversion circuit for a serial interface comprises a transmitting end parallel data bit width conversion circuit and a receiving end parallel data bit width conversion circuit. At a high-speed serial interface transmitting end, a data source inputs 10/20/40-bit parallel data according to requirements, and the 40-bit parallel data is outputted through the transmitting endparallel data bit width conversion circuit and is used by a transmitter achieving a parallel-serial conversion function. At the high-speed serial interface receiving end, the receiver achieving the serial-to-parallel conversion function recovers the 40-bit parallel data, and the 10/20/40-bit parallel data are outputted by the receiving end parallel data bit width conversion circuit according to requirements and is used by a signal processing circuit. The parallel data bit width conversion circuit is simple in structure and smaller in delay and is easy to implement.
