Abstract:
A simulation low dropout linear regulator is of a closed-loop negative feedback structure, and a miller compensation circuit can be additionally arranged between input and output of a regulating pipe to guarantee the stability of a loop. However, under different loads, the work state of the regulating pipe can change, the capacitance value, equivalent to the input end of the regulating pipe, of miller changes, therefore, the size of a loop dominant pole changes accordingly, and finally the stability of the loop is influenced. The invention provides a low dropout linear regulator adopting an artificial circuit compensation capacitor. In a low dropout linear regulator circuit adopting miller compensation, a voltage detecting circuit is utilized for detecting and regulating the voltage of a grid electrode, the work state of the regulating pipe is judged, the equivalent capacitance of the grid electrode is regulated at different work states, the capacitance of a grid electrode node of the regulating pipe at different work states is regulated through a capacitance compensation circuit and is kept unchanged basically, the changes of the equivalent capacitance of the node are reduced, and then the stability of the frequency of the dominant pole is guaranteed.
