Abstract:

The invention relates to a variable compression ratio sampling circuit used for a compression and sampling analog-to-digital converter and belongs to the field of mixing signal integrated circuit design. According to the invention, compression ratio of a system can be adjusted according to system demands and performance test results. Signal compression ratio is one of important indexes of a compression and sampling analog-to-digital converter and depends on observation length of each frame signal and the number of parallelly randomly sampled branches. In a traditional realization circuit, the values of the observation length of each frame signal and the number of parallelly randomly sampled branches should be determined via simulation in a design stage, and once finished, the design cannot be adjusted and corrected; and there is non-ideal factors in circuit hardware, there is a risk that the whole system performance will be reduced by unreasonable values of the module, which is not good for different restoration algorithms applied to back ends. The variable compression ratio sampling circuit has functions of adjusting frame lengths of signals and parallelly observing the number of the branches, so all the above problems can be effectively solved; performance of the compression and sampling analog-to-digital converter is improved; and universality and adaptability of the circuit are enhanced.
