Abstract：
The invention provides a fingertip touch detection system and a fingertip touch detection method. The system comprises a projection interface processing unit used for receiving human-computer interaction interface information input by the external part, and outputting the human-computer interaction interface information to a projection unit, the projection unit used for projecting the human-computer interaction interface information to a projection plane, an image sensing unit used for collecting a projection area image, and sending the projection area image to an image processing unit, the image processing unit used for judging whether the projection area image contains a fingertip, and calculating the distance from the fingertip to a human-computer interaction interface and location information thereof in the human-computer interaction interface if yes, and a touch detection unit comprising a judgment execution module, an optical center imaging location calculation module on an imaging plane, a fingertip lowest point acquisition module, a shadow front endpoint acquisition module and a fingertip touch judgment module and used for judging touch and outputting touch information. The fingertip touch detection system and method disclosed by the invention can realize touch detection which is low in cost and power consumption and high in precision.
