Introduction: |
This course introduces IC design language, design flow, simulation tools and so on, aiming to enable students to establish a complete concept of the technology and flow IC design, to study and understand the IC design method, and to master IC design tool. Through the study and experiment of the course, the practical IC design ability can be developed. Specifically, this course will first introduce IC discipline frontier development, and the knowledge of circuit design and basic theory. Then this course will further introduce the VHDL language, including the common grammar, combinational logic circuit design features, sequential logic circuit design features, and the state machine design method, etc. Then through experiment, the RTL simulation method and principle will be introduced, and then the use and principle of the comprehensive tool will be introduced. Finally, the Verilog language will be thoroughly introduced, including grammar, examples etc. |
