摘要/Abstract:
A ΔΣ based digitally controlled oscillator(DCO) using a hybrid finite impulse response(FIR) filter to reduce the quantization noise and improve the shortterm jitter is presented. With parallel operation, the filter based noise reduction method does not cause additional latency to the digital phase-locked loop(PLL). The validity of the proposed method is proved by both simulation and measurement results.
