摘要/Abstract:
为了降低无线内视镜系统的功耗,延长工作寿命,提出并实现了一种用于无线内线镜系统的数模混合的基带处理专用集成电路。该专用集成电路集成了准无损图像压缩、双向通信控制和电源管理等功能。由图像滤波器及JPEG-LS编码器组成的低功耗高性能的图像压缩算法能完成对原始Bayer彩色滤波阵列格式的图像的实时压缩。该数模混合芯片的设计通过了FPGA验证,并采用0.18μm的CMOS工艺流片。测试结果表明该芯片能有效地降低内视镜系统48%的整体功耗。
In order to reduce the power consumption and increase the lifetime of the wireless endoscopic system, a digital-analog mix-mode ASIC for baseband processing is proposed in this paper. Near-lossless image compression, bi-directional communication and power management modules are integrated in the chip. The image compression algorithm is composed of an image filter and JPEG-LS encoder, by which the images with raw Bayer color filter array pattern can be real-time compressed. The design has been successfully verified on FPGA and fabricated in 0.18μm CMOS technology. The test result shows that the overall power consumption is reduced by 48%.
