摘要/Abstract:
为了支持并利用有机发光二极管(OLED) 显示技术, 设计一种适用于96×64 无源OLED(PM-OLED)的显示控制与驱动芯片。该芯片可以实现6.5万彩色显示和256级对比度调节, 驱动方法采用了脉冲幅度调制(PAM)。芯片不但集成了数字和模拟电路, 而且兼容高电压和低电压同时工作。测试结果表明: 在低压电源为3V、高压电源为12V的情况下, 当列驱动单元输出电流为100uA时, 驱动电路和显示屏的整体模块功耗约为770mW, 所设计的控制与驱动芯片能够正确显示彩色图像。
A single controller/ driver chip was developed for a 96 × 64 pixel panel of a passive matrix organic light emitting diode(PM-OLED). This chip provides 65 thousands color display and 256-step contrast control. The driver uses pulse amplitude modulation(PAM). The chip includes analog and digital modules, and operates with high and low supply voltages simult aneously. Measurements indicate that with 3V low and 12V high supply voltages, the total power consumption is about 770mW when the output current of each segment driver is 100 uA.
